Energywell and Aspen Power Partners join forces to offer community solar to Maine

Energywell, an energy technology company powering the sustainable energy transition has announced a collaboration between one of its subsidiaries, Energy Well Community Solar, d/b/a Think Community Solar and Aspen Power Partners, a leading distributed generation platform specialising in solar and storage solutions, to provide community solar customer acquisition and management in Maine.

The partnership with Aspen advances Energywell’s mission of offering top sustainable energy products to their expanding residential customer base.

“By leveraging Energywell’s proprietary Think+ sales channel, we subscribed Aspen’s first project in Maine in just a few short weeks this winter,” said Steve Condon, VP of Community Solar at Energywell. “Energywell’s unique value proposition sets a new market standard that brings real scale to customer acquisition and management for the community solar industry. Our high- efficiency model applies seamlessly in all states where community solar subscriptions are an option for our residential, LMI, and C&I energy customers, and we look forward to continuing our growth with Aspen in 2023.”

Energywell believes that community solar subscriptions, combined with its subsidiary Think Energy, a licenced retail electricity supplier offering 100% clean electricity with fixed rates and no cancellation fees, can deliver added value to customers through long-term savings. Embracing a multi-product clean energy strategy provides customers with more options and streamlines customer acquisition. This approach also fosters stronger customer engagement in Energywell’s community solar projects, leveraging the seamless utility data integrations of a retail energy provider.

“Prior to founding Energywell, our team built several highly successful retail energy companies that contracted millions of residential electricity and natural gas customers over the years,” said Michael Fallquist, CEO of Energywell. “Our expertise in the retail energy industry uniquely positions us to deliver high quality community solar customers at scale and with the highest standards of compliance.”

The partnership between Think Community Solar and Aspen aims to make community solar accessible and advantageous for Maine residents. It will accelerate the renewable energy revolution through the integration of advanced technology, customer-centric strategies, and a shared commitment to sustainability.
