The RO Group has appointed Ana Bajri as its first Head of Sustainability. Ana is a technical expert in the property sector, with extensive experience in real estate and the built environment. She has a strong track record of navigating and addressing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues in a commercial context.
Ana comes to the RO Group from Countrywide Surveying Services, where she was responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies, integrating ESG principles across the business, and leading programmes to enhance the knowledge and skills of over 500 surveyors in energy efficiency. Ana’s extensive career also includes nearly a decade at Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), where she played a key role in developing the RICS Responsible Business Framework, a globally recognised best-practise document guiding the incorporation of ESG considerations into real estate management, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). She was instrumental in crafting RICS’ sustainability strategy and providing expert guidance on ESG commitments.
As the UK government proposes that every commercial building must achieve an energy performance certificate rating of C by 2027, the RO Group remains committed to exceeding these targets in line with legal and moral obligations regarding sustainability across all Group activities. Ana Bajri’s appointment further underscores this commitment.
